ADAPTED FROM KILLING NO MURDER BY WILLIAM ALLEN
Kill Cromwell is a Protectorate Western about an exiled soldier who must appeal
to the Lord Protector to rescue England from Tyranny in this witty, passionate and dynamic monologue adapted from seventeenth century radical pamphlet Killing No Murder. The film explores a largely ignored period in England’s history and draws
an uncomfortable resonance with twenty-first century politics.
Kill Cromwell is Writer/Director Mark Finbow’s follow-up to the award winning
micro-short Freedom of the People.
Winner of 'Best Super Short' at Monthly Future of Film Awards; Finalist at Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival.
